I've got a CCTV camera that is jittering, as in the picture jumps up and
down by one line every couple of seconds seemily randomly.
Any ideas what could be causing it ? The whole picture moves down and them

up by one line.

I should of mentioned that the cams have a coax cable each and are analogue
and not network cams. Essentially PAL composite video inthe multiport
capture card. 8 Cables and 8 cams.
Any ideas ?

You would have to be more specific about your system. If you care to post
OS configuration along with SW and HW you are using it would be easier to
address. Are you using a DVR card? What format video and so forth. You say
camera, does that mean only one is jittering and the rest are fine? How new
is this setup? What have you done to solve this problem?

The system is brand new.
Running on a Dell 9100 PC, runs sweet, but a couple of the cams jitter up and
down. by a single line.
Cabling RG59 - seperate power line to each cam - I didn't route the cabling so
don't know where it goes.
Software latest version of X-Vision and the DVR card is capable of handling 16
cams (currently 8 connected) - Codec is Mpeg4HQ and 720x576 non interlace mode.
I think the cams are 400line ones. Could that be the problem ?
